Photography by Brenton Salo

Brenton Salo is on of the busy bike photographers over in the states, nearly daily documenting the fixed gear scene and providing great images. I really like his work.
So I thought I can make a exception and post the first fixed gear freestyle pictures in the blog.

I’m not much into this freestyle thing, but this gap is huge and also there is a fun picture story behind. Speaking of Patricks blog PEDAL consumption in the last post, I now can also put one of his photography attempts up. Looks like a spy pic, but being a photographer myself, I like pictures of photographers who take pictures.

Next time, try to not cut off Brenton that much, Patrick.

FIXED Book„Fixed“ versucht als eins der ersten Bücher das komplette Fixed Gear Phänomen zu dokumentieren und geht dabei, so der Verlag, auf jegliche Bereiche der Szene ein. So geht es unter anderem um Messenger, Bike Polo und Track, aber auch um Trick Biking. In dem 144 Seiten starken Buch kommen sowohl Fahrer und Kuriere, aber auch Rahmenbauer und Künstler die sich dem Thema nähern zu Wort. Bei Amazon kann man es gerade für knapp 16€ ordern. Fairer Preis wie ich finde…
