DVS x Cadence Shoes available @ Suicycle!

It took a while, but finally the whole DVS x Cadence Collection is out and available. Pretty limited, but maybe you are a lucky one to grab some gear.

Dustin from Cadence did a great job and together with DVS he created a legit line of products. Some really good looking shoes for skateboarding and of course cycling. They put a lot of work in those shoes and added some well-thought cycling related features like reflectives, a stiff sole and new designed tongue to protect the laces.

Check out the pictures in this entry and get some more information on DVS x Cadence here.

If you want to get a pair, visit our friends at Suicycle in Hamburg. They made this great Fast Forward Event some weeks ago and also be the first store in Germany to sell the DVS x Cadence Shoes. You can get all three colorways in their onlineshop.
So be quick and get a pair.

Fixed City Dresden – 17.04.10

MISSION WORKSHOP Backpacks.

There is something going on in the bag biz. Messenger bags are everywhere and most of all those little companies really work well and produce great bags. Messenger bags are mostly near perfect for what they are, but what about people who don’t like to carry things this way? A backpack helps, but there are a lot possibilities to develop a backpack for a urban rider. For me the MASH backpack is great, it offers a lot and there are many great ideas in this bag. But the lack of waterproofness is a huge contra for me. Maybe they will release a V2 sometime in the future…

Until then there is not much available in this section. Ortlieb Messenger Pro (or Velocity) is a great and quality bag, but its not really versatile and pretty inflexible. Some messenger bag companies offer backpacks aswell, never had the chance to test one of those monsters, but i’m not sure about them. Mostly these are just really really large bags, where you can put a dwarf or two in, but they don’t seem practical for someone who don’t want to carry just big and pretty much stuff.
Some might notice that i really like bags/backpacks and so i revisited the website of Mission Workshop from SF some days ago to check out what they have to offer.

Where Are The Pyramides? – Documentary / Trailer

Received a mail from David from the beautiful town of Vienna. He is making a fixed gear movie called “Where Are The Pyramides?”.
Boring you say? Just another trick track movie? No!

Something really interesting. Kind of a documentary about 5 fixed gear riders who used to ride in Cairo & Egypt for 2 weeks in search for the pyramids.. The trailer look pretty cool. Nice idea and of course a different view on fixed gear riding. It’s not only about being hip and cool, it’s about riding a bike and discovering new places.

Really looking forward to see it.
For those who have the chance to visit this years Bicycle Film Festivals you can see a final version.

Check out the website and the trailers after the jump.
