Superb is a neat bike store in Boston / USA. They came up with a lot nice stuff so far and when you check out their website, you will see their dedication to the scene and bicycle.

Now they finally released their awaited Alu Track Frame, which seems to be very very nice. And even for us over here in Europe, this frame seems to be a great alternative. Especially the price point looks fair.
Looking at those pictures, i’m really thinking about getting one and built up something new next year. Last bike I built up was sadly too long ago.

Personally I really like a story behind something, when i build up a bike I nearly can tell you a short story about most of the parts I used. For me this is part of the game and also excitement.

Some days ago I was thrilled as I stumbled upon the website of Pelizzoli.
This is pure cycling history, dedicated from the heart.
Giovanni Pelizzoli used to race in his young days, learned how to weld and build frames and soon started to built his own frames.

He is the creator of the classic and sought-after brand CIÖCC and many great races where won on his frames and bikes. After he sold CIÖCC he build frames with his own name on them and also worked for wellknown brand FAUSTO COPPI in the 90ties. The technical progress went on and so in the last years he was also involved in the development of Titanium and Carbon frames. There is a lot knowledge and experiance in this italien craftman. He now shares all this in his own studio with his team and provides great skills to customers and also pro teams. Giovanni Pelizzoli got back to building steel frames with his own signature and he does it pretty good. Frames perfect in every detail.
I think they offer really decent prices on their frames. You can get classic steel road frames with a lot chrome called “Corsa GP” or “GP Oro“, a classic track frame called “Pista GP” and of course a really nice aluminium track frame – the “Leggenda“, which reminds me of the famous Cannondale track from the early 90ties. All handmade in Curno / Italy.

He is the true italian craftsman of the past.
