There is something going on. Patrick from pedalconsumption.com is busy with collaborations, but this one will stand out. Over one year of working and planning…
High quality 7005-T6 aluminum tubing, integrated headset, rear dropouts feature double-sided mirrored hangers, gunmetal paint with sparkle, carbon fork with aluminium steerer and of course a lo-pro geometry. 700c/700c!
Sounds pretty nice and I can’t wait to see some more views and of course a release date!

The history of a t-shirt, daily impressions and aspirations associated with, its ability of communication, make it to a memorable piece which often you cannot seperate from, even when it is worn out and unfitting.
Project #1 refers to the desire of retaining a part of this individual past.
Central point is the concept of giving a former… favourite t-shirt a new gain as a cap and thus taking up the contemporary dialogue between wearer and observer.
It is essential for AH310 to preserve the authenticity of the classic, simple shape/design of a t-shirt and the intimate, casual sensation of comfortable and practical wear.
Each cap is unique, custom-made and coded within a limited edition from AH01 to AH99. A direct connection between the caps succeeds through the reverse side of the shield. Composed of the prior t-shirt, it gives continuity to a fragment of memory.
40€ for one cap, 70€ for two caps. Handmade in Karlsruhe.

It’s no secret, I love SWRVE. High quality handmade cycling apparel. Unique and affordable gear for bike enthusiasts. I’m always down when it comes to technical gear. If you read this blog regularly, then you might noticed that I’m a bit lazy in posting stuff…I’m really sorry for this, i’ll try my best to keep this thin here updated… but what i wanted to say. I’m really into technical gear, you might noticed the many bag entries and also I’m really into jackets and apparel that makes riding or life in general easier. The guys at SWRVE seem to think the same and so they released a lot great stuff and recently they finally put up their new Wax Riding Jacket. Waxed Cotton is not really hi-tech stuff, but classic and it simply works. That’s it. It is loaded with features Pit Zips, a lot pockets, longer back, longer arms, waterproof YKK Zipper and many more. Sadly I don’t had he chance to get my hands on one of these Jackets to test it myself, but Kyle from Tracko had the chance to check out this Jacket on a ride with photographer Omar Ogues. He took some really stunning shots of this jacket. Really impressiv and I think it is visible that this jacket is really well-made and of course well-thought-out. Check out some pictures after the jump or at Omar Ogues Flickr Set.
If you want this Jacket, be quick and head over to SWRVE. It’s worth the price.

There are a lot frames out there today. Some are nice classic road frames to convert to a fixed gear, some too expensive collector track frames, a lot ugly modern sloping frames or too much cheap frames from faceless factories.
Personally I really like a story behind something, when i build up a bike I nearly can tell you a short story about most of the parts I used. For me this is part of the game and also excitement.
Some days ago I was thrilled as I stumbled upon the website of Pelizzoli.
This is pure cycling history, dedicated from the heart.
Giovanni Pelizzoli used to race in his young days, learned how to weld and build frames and soon started to built his own frames.

The SPOKE Magazine #4 is out for some time now, but due to a lot of work i didn’t had the chance to put up some impressions of it.
I’m not sure why it is marked #4, but the good guys @SPOKE know what they do. This issue looks even better than the previous one. Featuring a New York City report, the story about “Vamos a la Playa“, Halloween, Belt-Drive and much more. Really worth reading, a much better layout overall and of course a great choice of photography.
Sadly the website isn’t running yet, but they have a facebook page to stay up to date.
