Philipp und ich haben beschlossen, den traditionellen cycleboys-Stammtisch heute Abend im SpecOps stattfinden zu lassen. Wer Lust auf Bier, Fahrräder oder Mexikaner hat, möge vorbeikommen, wir sind gleich, ab 22 Uhr da.
Auch sonst sei das SpecOps allen Lesern wärmstens empfohlen, täglich ab 12:00 werden in der Von-Vinckestraße 5-7 (exELPI, neben Backyard) Kaffee, Punkrock, veganer Kuchen, Tischtennisplatte(!) und gute Literatur ausgeschenkt. Zusätzlich gibts Ausstellungen, Lesungen und Konzerte. Mehr Infos hier.
We like saddles. Turbos for Sebastian, i like Concors and Rolls’ and phlpp wants a Regal. As Regals are expensive, this saddle will make phlpp happy: Cheap, vegan and with some jewish culture. Cheers!

For all of you who like the Brooks Swallow but shy away from buying one because of the price, this saddle might be the alternative: The Gran Compe Saddle by Dia Compe from Japan is a beutiful leather saddle on a steel rail that comes with an adjusting tool for the tightening mechanism. Seen at Tokyo Fixed Gear for decent 80 GBP. Availeble in brown, black and white.
Benny Gold did it again. A 2010 version of the MASH Cinelli will be availeable and will be previewed at Interbike this week. Colours will be green and classic gray.
Not really clear to me is, if the new frame still has the pursuit geometry of the classic MASH Cinelli. The top tube seems to be straight, but the bike isn’t standing on even ground. Well, we’ll see.
