Today i finally received my VAGX Ultimate Masterpiece Messenger Bag.
I was really curious about these bags for a while and the good people at BT Performance Parts send one over to me. VAGX is a young company from Korea, with a nice range of products. There are similarities to SÄG from Japan, but with a closer look you can see some new features, sweet colorways and also a lot differences.
It’s great to see that BT Performance Parts, which is also a pretty young and small company/store, is checking out some fresh brands and getting them over to our market. They are the first store to sell VAGX bags in germany and also in europe there are not really stores who carry those bags. Alex, one of the owners, told me that they are planning to widen their brand range in the next month and that they are focus on high quality brands (like Paul Components, Brev.M, Gilles Berthoud, FrederikPackers,…) not just the standard fixed gear stuff.
My first impression about the bag was pretty good, well made and quality fabrics.
Some good ideas in the bag design and some stuff i don’t like very much on first sight. But i will test it for some weeks while commuting, delivering or on the way to the grocery store and write a full review about this bag.

Great weekend. We had a lot fun there.
Someone from Hamburg made the first place and there were some more winners, but i think everyone who survived this race is a winner. We are looking forward to next years event. It’s going to be the 10th and sadly the last St. Paulopoly.

Was checking out the Suicycle Store some hours ago. Meet some nice peeps from Amsterdam and the States, all really curious for the race in the evening. Meier from the Suicycle guys was there and showed some of their goods. The Suicycle frames are really hot…
Check out some impressions of Hamburg with to much ice and snow and of course some shop pictures.
Just to mention, yesterday around 8p.m. there was no snow or ice… the race is going to be really interesting.

The smart guys over in Enschede are inviting for their big alleycat on the 20th of march. Registration will be at 13:00 near 21 Rozendaal (google maps: 52.233315,6.895732). Afterwards, there’s some food for the hungry (thanks to “het Theehuis”) and a nice party with some dubstep and what not… Sounds good.

Mein Fixie wurde gestohlen!
Heute ( 22.02.2010 ), gegen 12-16 Uhr hat es jemand aus dem Hausflur meines Wohnhauses gestohlen. Es ist offensichtlich ein nicht alltägliches Rad und fällt auf.
Wer es irgendwo sieht, möge sich bitte schnellstmöglich melden.
Eine Anbauteileliste steht weiter unten, schaut euch die Bilder an und sagt es bitte weiter.

Someone took away my bike!
Between 12 – 16 o’clock someone stole it from the hallway of the house i’m living in.
Check out the pictures, it’s very unique and there isn’t a second one like this.
