A Tale of Two Cycling Cities


Matt Seaton just moved from London to New York and is deeply rooted in the bicycle culture. He wrote for Rapha and the Rouleur magazine and also wrote the book
“The Escape Artist”
.
He dropped some interesting thoughts about these two cities for Rapha – Stories .

Every city has its indigenous bike culture, the result of a subtle interaction of people with transport infrastructure, built environment, traffic regulations and bylaws, social custom and practice. To make a transition from cycling in one city to another is both to encounter novelty and difference and to see your origins anew.

Cinelli Laser 2011 Re-Issue.


This prototype was spotted in a back room of the Cinelli booth at Eurobike 2010. Looks like 2011 is going to be pretty interesting. Hopefully there will be more news on this beauty soon.
