Come and celebrate with the good people @ KEIRIN Berlin…

Received a mail from David from the beautiful town of Vienna. He is making a fixed gear movie called “Where Are The Pyramides?”.
Boring you say? Just another trick track movie? No!
Something really interesting. Kind of a documentary about 5 fixed gear riders who used to ride in Cairo & Egypt for 2 weeks in search for the pyramids.. The trailer look pretty cool. Nice idea and of course a different view on fixed gear riding. It’s not only about being hip and cool, it’s about riding a bike and discovering new places.
Really looking forward to see it.
For those who have the chance to visit this years Bicycle Film Festivals you can see a final version.
Check out the website and the trailers after the jump.

Now that’s a nice goal..
Fahrraddiebe, fickt euch!
AURORA stickers just look good on bikes, your fridge or diskwheels… Cheers to Nils from Hannover, by the way one of the organizers of the Maikätzchen Alleycat 2010!

Besides, one question: who wants to play polo in Münster?
…we from msfixed love Suicycle! So check out their online store to see what sexy goodies the Hamburg based shop has in store for you. How about a handbuilt suicycle track-frame from Hamburg’s no. 1 framebuilder Hagen Wechsel, for example? Or a Giant track-frame from Eric Zabel’s former framepool? There should be something in stock for any enthusiast of individually built fixed gear and road bikes.
There’ll be some special offers in the next weeks, so better be quick!
The webshop just has a few things up, if you are searching for something feel free to drop a line and they will get everything you need.
And whenever you are in Hamburg, don’t miss to visit the shop in the heart of the beautiful St. Pauli, at Wohlwillstraße 12.

Our friends over at Keirin Berlin had a neet booth at the 1st Berliner Fahrradschau fair which took place last week. Sadly it was the same weekend as the St.Paulopoly… But as always Maria Laub took some nice pictures of the booth.
Have a closer look, there is some AURORA in it aswell.
Today i finally received my VAGX Ultimate Masterpiece Messenger Bag.
I was really curious about these bags for a while and the good people at BT Performance Parts send one over to me. VAGX is a young company from Korea, with a nice range of products. There are similarities to SÄG from Japan, but with a closer look you can see some new features, sweet colorways and also a lot differences.
It’s great to see that BT Performance Parts, which is also a pretty young and small company/store, is checking out some fresh brands and getting them over to our market. They are the first store to sell VAGX bags in germany and also in europe there are not really stores who carry those bags. Alex, one of the owners, told me that they are planning to widen their brand range in the next month and that they are focus on high quality brands (like Paul Components, Brev.M, Gilles Berthoud, FrederikPackers,…) not just the standard fixed gear stuff.
My first impression about the bag was pretty good, well made and quality fabrics.
Some good ideas in the bag design and some stuff i don’t like very much on first sight. But i will test it for some weeks while commuting, delivering or on the way to the grocery store and write a full review about this bag.
So stay tuned.
If you are interested in VAGX bags check out BT Performance Parts and feel free to contact them directly or me.
