These boys from Ahtens definitely know how to bomb their hilly city. Nice to see that there are still people who ride fixed for the fun of being the fastest vehicle in traffic and not only for doing spins, 180°s and front-wheelies… Awesome stuff, guys!

We had his first ride here on Münster Fixed Gear aswell and here is the second one. It’s really cool to watch. I’m a fan of skandinavia and it’s easy to imagine how it could be to bomb the streets there with my bike. The nice tunes make this vid kind of hypnotizing.

In Leipzig geht was. Nach “Fixed City”, welches ja auch von Leipzigern kommt, geht es nun weiter mit dem nächsten Alleycat.
Laut Initiator sind die Events nix für kleine Mädchen da es gut und gerne mal über 2 Stunden bzw. auch mal 85 km werden können. Damit der Spass aber nicht zu kurz kommt, gibts Spielchen wie Eierlaufen oder beschauliches wie um einen See fahren.
Schöne Sache, und da es zusammen noch gemütlicher wird, gibts am Ende immer eine Kneipe als Treffpunkt und auch noch ein paar Events für die die nicht so gerne weite Strecken fahren. 
Klingt nach einer runden Sache, Hut ab für das Engagement.

Wir wurden vor kurzem von einem jungen Mitarbeiter der Zeitung zum Fixie befragt. Ich finde es sehr positiv das der Bericht recht neutral geworden ist und nicht von falschen Fakten oder Vorurteilen durchsetzt wurde. Über Stil, Zusammenhang und vorallem die Überschrift des Berichts kann man sich streiten.
